It all started during his fourteenth year, he was listening music with his uncle Hellmuth, who happens to get involved in events related to the electronic music industry. Hellmuth’s influence on him was that of Trance and Progressive.
A couple of years later, when he turned sixteen an interest on that music scene grew on him. He decided to do some research, to see what he needed in order to start a career as a DJ. Some months later he began to play with an application named Virtual DJ, with it, he started to learn how to handle many aspects regarding professional equipment.
It is a summer day when his uncle Hellmuth takes him with a friend of his who happens to be a DJ, and works in an EXA radio station in Tampico (Northern Mexico). There he learned a lot of things: day after day over a course of two weeks.
It is in his high school, during an event called Noche Colonial (Colonial Night) where he decides to contact the person in charge of all electronic music in a place called The Disco. After contacting him, and asking for permission, Rengo was allowed to play for that night. And so it was, Rengo was now a part of a Production House called Sommaudio Productions, there he met many DJs: especially DJ Fickuz, who would later become a partner in his following events as a part of Sommaudio. DJ Fickuz had certain Electro & Tribal influences, which were important to him, without leaving Trance
Months later, after getting started with University, contacting his Sommaudio partner became difficult, which led Rengo to walk his own path in production. This is how Afalian was born; now as an independent producer, he began to work on his own material. Experimenting and working with diverse software like Sony SoundForge, Sony Acid and FL Studio. After a few months producing, his genre was, is and will be “progressive trance”.
It is then when his first not-official production “Light Angel” is released, this song was useful to him in that he learned and understood how to produce a song. After working and Ydolon's help, “Trance Night” is released and is currently available for download.
It is now when he decides to expand his name and attitudes working on a weekly session with the world's best of trance and progressive.
